Wednesday Cafe
We visited a pretty little cafe in the middle of Avallon – Dame Jeanne. Where I had a hot chocolate with caramel. It was delicious.

Locks
The locks are an incredibly tight squeeze. Can you believe we slid into these with barely glancing the sides – thanks to Captain Jim!
My Favorite Lockkeeper
This is my favorite lockkeeper so far! He ran alongside the barge back and forth making sure we were properly aligned and then neatly tucked away in the lock before heading off to the galley door for his paycheck. He was sooooo focused.
