Lockkeeper

Maybe he has overslept? While we wait . . . Still waiting . . . Maybe we will have to operate it ourselves, but how to get ashore? This is how! Finally, here he is!

This is my favorite lockkeeper so far! He ran alongside the barge back and forth making sure we were properly aligned and then neatly tucked away in the lock before heading off to the galley door for his paycheck. He was sooooo focused.
