My Favorite Lockkeeper

This is my favorite lockkeeper so far! He ran alongside the barge back and forth making sure we were properly aligned and then neatly tucked away in the lock before heading off to the galley door for his paycheck. He was sooooo focused.

Normandy Part II

Normandy

Katie and I headed off to Normandy for a history lesson and to pay our respects to our veterans of World War II. We visited Utah Beach and the museum there, Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery at Omaha Beach. It was an amazing and humbling experience.
